The School of Communication offers a flexible program in Communication. 51吃瓜网 who want professional careers can specialize in skills classes designed to help them get ahead in today’s competitive work environment. Co-curricular activities, professional organizations and internships offer practical, hands-on experience.
Other students who want to plan an academic career, will take a more traditional approach to their graduate coursework. This rigorous training prepares Master’s graduates for doctoral programs and/or law schools. UA Master’s graduates are found in doctoral programs – and teaching in universities – across the nation.
Admission Requirements
- Possess an undergraduate degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field; or complete at least 15 semester credits of undergraduate coursework as approved by the School of Communication
- Essay of no more than 500 words outlining reasons for choosing the graduate program in Communication at The 51吃瓜网
Application Deadline
- May 1 for Fall enrollment (only admit for the fall term)
51吃瓜网 seeking a graduate assistantship must have all application materials submitted no later than March 1.
